Ford Galaxy Titanium X

Ford Galaxy Titanium X
( Deep Impact Blue. )

Two Litre Turbo Diesel.

Power: 150bhp

Torque: 350 lbft

0-62: 9.7 seconds

Top speed: 123 mph

It has a 6 speed manual gearbox, but I would recommend you leave every single gear as long as you dare apart from first. It has an electronic speed limiter, it doesn't stop you speeding it just beeps when you are. It has a reversing camera. The seats are really comfortable to use and it makes the journey more enjoyable and I can't wait to get the car on the motorway. There are eight way adjustable seat for the driver and a four way adjustable seat for the passenger and both of these are heated. There are iso fixes "baby seats" on all of the rear seats.

It handles astonishingly well, I'm actually surprised at how well it handles, you can have fun with it if you're prepared to chuck it around but use the gearbox and keep the revs as high as possible as it's really good if you do that and it's good for the MPV as well. should be alright for the motorway as well but i'll have to let you know.

Luxuries: sat-nav, full leather cream interior, CD player, iPod connectivity air-con, electronic handbrake, full panoramic electric sun roof, electric windows, It also has electronic front seats, adapted cruise control. it also has traction control which stops you having fun when you want to pull away quickly but it does sort itself out before you have even noticed. It shouldn't affect other people driving unless you're a car enthusiast like me you're not going to notice the difference. This car comes with lane control which drops you drifting out of the lane. This car comes with satellite navigation. Car comes with electric tail gate as standard. Electric windows, front and rear. Electrically folding middle and rear seats along with heated windscreen.

I took the car down to Southampton via the m3 motorway, The car was full up with luggage which effected the performance to heavily for this journey you would need a bigger engine the only way to get around it is to absolutely floor it which is what I had to do, you can overtake but with great difficulty, for overtaking when the car is fully loaded you have to go down to third and fourth gear and really give it the beans, you have to take it up to the red line to do it. which is 4500 RPM, Even if the car was not fully loaded with luggage you would still encounter this problem. But would be considerably easier without a doubt, you may get away with it when it is not loaded.

When you floor the throttle it doesn't pick up as quickly as I would like it to, it could do with around 30% more power, but with the current engine unless you rev it as hard as you dare, preferably up to the red line, but then you can just get away with it. But for the normal drivers it will be fine.

I should warn you that it is possible that the reversing camera can go wrong but if the car is under warranty it should be okay.

You need more power preferably the bigger 190bhp with 500ft lb torque for long motorway journeys like essex to southampton fo rexample.
Had it three years, hasn't ghone wrong so far, very good vechile.

PS - Just returned from Spain, an overall 3K round trip and the car never missed a beat! But sadly, time for an upgrade!!
